Paths of Darkness, Paths of Light
I can ask no more of the lord of the earth than to be the lord of the earth. I can ask no more of my savior than to be my savior I can ask no more of the holy spirit than to move as a spirit of holiness does, And if by paths of darkness I come, I can ask no more of the lord of hosts than to be my defender, And I can ask no more of my deliverer than to dwell within me, If by dark paths I come. If by paths of light and righteousness I come. I can ask no more of the lord of peace than that peace be with me. I can ask no more of the lamb for it is within me that, The sacrifice be not in vain. And I can ask no more of the holy inhabitant than delight, If by paths of light and righteousness I come.
